Designations

A REALTOR® is a real estate broker or an associate who holds active membership in a local real estate board and is affiliated with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. These professionals voluntarily  subscribe to the strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Associate Broker

An Associate Broker (AB) is a REALTOR® who has met educational and time criteria, which equate to a greater degree of skill and experience.

The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYERS AGENT Council (REBAC) of the NATIONAL  ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® who met the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

The Council awards the CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) designation to those individuals who successfully complete the requirements and demonstrate excellence and expertise in real estate brokerage management

The e-PRO Certification course certifies real estate agents, assistants, and brokers as Internet Professionals. Comprehensive and rewarding, e-PRO is the only certification program of its kind recognized nationwide and endorsed by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

Association of REALTORS® members may earn The Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation by successfully completing various modules,

each providing classroom hours of instruction in real estate education. It is recognized nationwide as a sound, fundamental training program in the critical skills and knowledge areas of the real estate business.

The Residential Sales Council serves the industry's top producing residential specialists. By offering state-of-the-art education courses leading to the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, the Council strengthens its members' ability to operate a "business within a business" successfully and profitably. Designees are recognized experts in listing, selling, and real estate investment.

A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized professional in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. As an experienced expert, a CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user.

Internet Marketing Specialist

An agent that has successfully completed a clock hour course, and better understands the intricacies of marketing homes online.

REBAC (Real Estate BUYER’S AGENT Council) is North America’s largest association of real estate professionals focusing specifically on representing the real estate consumer. There are active members of the organization throughout the United States and Canada. REBAC awards the ABR® and the ABRM designations.

A Senior Residential Specialist has training which enables a real estate professional to specifically service the unique needs of seniors.

An ASP™ is a real estate professional who has completed a rigorous training program teaching techniques and concepts in home presentation and Staging®. Upon course completion, they are awarded the Accredited Staging® Professional™ credential which allows them to professionally Stage® a home.
